U13 GIRLS MIDLANDS XC CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, what can we say really. An amazing achievement. A busy day at Woolaton Park in Nottingham starting off with the U13 boys. Morgan came in 2nd by the smallest of margins after a sprint finish neck and neck for the last 100m, what an accomplishment for an individual Silver medal! Great running from the 4 strong team of Morgan (2nd), Lucca Watson-Quilter (14th), Xavi Salcedo (15th) & Roman Watson-Quilter (35th) to take silver as a team.
With 12 entries in the U13 Girls race it was great to see a lot of white and blue vests on the start line. Even better to see was the team picking up the shield for First placed team! Such a great achievement, showing just how strong we are in this age group. If we had been able to enter a B team they would have placed 4th out of 10 teams. Individual results are below.
