What a fantastic week we’ve had running the Virtual Marathon Relay. HUGE thanks to Holly for creating the teams, number crunching and pic-collage making this evening!

We had a total of 63 runners taking part, from some of our youngest members, right up to our ‘most experienced’ shall we say!!… I’m sure you’ll agree, it’s been an absolute joy to see the times and pictures come in, knowing that we’ve all been running together this week has been amazing!

Onto the results…. and in first place with a cumulative time of 2 hours and 48 minutes is…. DRUM ROLL PLEASE…

3 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER Congratulations to Danny Hallam, Cassie Dodge, Kirsty Addy, Eloise Geary, Frankie Castledine, Lucy Hurst and Farah Cook!

2nd place goes to… Team 6 – THE SHOOTING STARS, who finished in a time of 3 hours and 3 minutes, closely followed by Isol8 in 3 hours and 4 minutes!!

The 2.6mi Marathon DREAM TEAM would have been Nick Castledine, Farah Cook, Lucy Hurst, Archie Clarke, Euan Mckitrick, Rosie Ashmore, Imogen Saunders, Joe Pointon, Lillie Holford and Rebecca Miles. Had these 10 have been teamed up together, they’d have completed the marathon in a rapid 2:43:42.

The 5.2mi Marathon DREAM TEAM would have been Danny Hallam, Jake Harrison, Alex Langlands, Paul Miles and Sam Stabler with a combined marathon time of 2:32:31.
