This weekend Wreake and Soar Valley Atheltics Club ran at North Mids – Berry Hill, Derby Runner – Martinshaw Woods as well as in Lincoln.

Well done to everyone who ran, a few highlights of the weekend below!

For the 4th time this season, Kieran James finished 1st in the North Mids Race at Berry Hill, winning the overall series and also taking the award for Best Male runner of the season!!!

U13 Girls went in to today with the lead of the series and didn’t disappoint with Violet Rudkin, Sian Evans, Eden Bardfield, Frankie Castledine and Grace Hatherley all rising to the challenge with all finishing in the top 15!! The girls rightly won the series and Sian Evans taking 3rd place overall. Lastly Violet Rudkin won her 4th race on a row winning the U13 title and being awarded the Best female runner of the series!!

U13 Boys also went in to this weekend with the lead in the team standings. Jake Tyrrell, Freddie Sharpe, Beckett Moore, Kellam James and William Hutchinson responded with all finishing in the top 20 and winning the U13 series title!!!

The Mens race saw Danny Hallam return to racing in style with a 2nd place finish!!

Over the other side of the East Midlands Alice had a storming race finishing in first pace in the U17Gs race to make it through to the final stage for East Anglia
